General requirements for obtaining a visa to Belarus 

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons in the Republic of Belarus" on January 4, 2010 a foreigner may enter the Republic of Belarus, to leave the Republic of Belarus and implement transit (transit) across the territory of the Republic of Belarus on the document for travel abroad (the document for travel abroad meant a valid passport or other document replacing it intended to travel abroad and issued by the relevant authority of the State of nationality or habitual residence or international organization) with a visa of the Republic of Belarus [visa of other countries are not recognized], unless otherwise determined by international treaties of the Republic of Belarus or decisions of the President of the Republic of Belarus. 

Note: Visa-free regime applies to citizens of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Venezuela (up to 90 days), Georgia, Kazakhstan, Qatar (up to 30 days), Cuba (for up to 30 days), Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia (in the presence of the private invitation or a tourist voucher), Moldova, Mongolia, Russia, Serbia (up to 30 days), Tajikistan, Turkey (up to 30 days), Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Montenegro (up to 30 days in the presence of the private invitation or tourist voucher ).

Short-term visa is issued for one or two entry into the Republic of Belarus for a period not exceeding 30 days of stay

You are free to get a tourist visa. To do this, you need to have an invitation (Petition) from a registered travel company in Belarus. The invitation should contain information about the inviting company (name, address, license number) and about you (name, surname, first name, passport number, period of stay in Belarus), as well as ordered and paid for your services. These documents must be signed by the director of the company and sealed.

When you contact the embassy or consulate of the Republic of Belarus, you must have a valid passport, visa application form, Application by a registered travel company in Belarus, the money to pay the visa fee. The magnitude of the visa fee depends on the type of visa (individual, group), and citizenship.

Visa for entry on private business.

This visa can be single or multiple short-term (for the period of stay up to 90 days) or long-term (issued for 1 year). These types of visas are issued based on the original invitation from the citizens of the Republic of Belarus, decorated in subdivisions of Citizenship and Migration Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus in the community.

 

Visa to travel for business purposes (non-employment)

This visa can be single or multiple short-term (for the period of stay up to 90 days) or long-term (with the right to stay in Belarus up to 90 days per year). In order to obtain a business visa, you must provide the Embassy of invitation from your business partner being a legal entity in the Republic of Belarus. It must be signed by the head of the company and sealed. Getting multiple business visa requires additional documents.

 Transit visa

Transit visa is issued on the basis of documents confirming that you do not stay in Belarus longer than 48 hours (tickets, visa of the destination country, etc.). It is imperative that you must enter Belarus from one country and go to another.
